On behalf of the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (IGBA), the GBMA is pleased to officially announce that the 6th Annual Global Biosimilars Week social media awareness campaign will take place from November 3 to 7, 2025.
This year’s theme is Biosimilars: A Wise Investment for Global Health – better access to biosimilar medicines will help more people live healthier lives worldwide.
We warmly invite all stakeholders in Australia to show their support of biosimilars throughout the week by using the hashtags #GlobalBiosimilarsWeek and #GBW25.
As the world faces increasing health challenges, biosimilar medicines offer a promising solution to enhance accessibility, affordability, and sustainability of healthcare systems worldwide, which are all important pillars to meet the UN Sustainable Development Goals for Health by 2030
